Intruder Alarms Systems

Our team of expert designers will carry out a full site survey and will consult with you to design a system to meet your specific requirements.

Whether you require protection for your home, small business or a large complex we can offer a security solution to meet your needs.

  • We are a NACOSS GOLD accredited installer, which means we are regulated to the highest standard.
  • All installations comply with the new European Standards PD6662. (PD6662 is the UK implementation of EN50131.)
  • All our engineers are fully qualified.
  • Intruder Alarm systems may be stand alone, or can be integrated with Fire Alarm, Smoke Detection, CCTV, Security Lighting and Access Control.
  • Alarm Systems can be 'bells only' or monitored via digital communicator, GSM Redcare or Dualcom signalling to an Approved Alarm Receiving Centre.

GSM Redcare Signalling.
Monitoring via a GSM Redcare consists of a continuous monitoring signal between the alarm system and A.I.M Central Station, using an existing British Telecom line. It is designed to give indication of alarm activations and B.T. line failure whether accidental or malicious. It will record setting and unsetting of the system.
If the B.T. line fails or is cut, transmission will be via the cellnet mobile.

DualComm Signalling
A DualCom Plus signalling device can be fitted to the alarm control equipment; this will offer full radio signalling over the VDN [Vodaphone Data Network] and full back up on an auto-dialling Digital Communication Device on any existing P.S.T.N [public switched telephone network].
When the DualCom is activated by the intruder alarm system, this initiates signals to the monitoring station; over both communication paths simultaneously.
DualCom includes an internal rechargeable battery that ensures continued reporting and monitoring even in the event of total power failure to the DualCom.

Police Response to Alarm Activations
If your system is monitored via a digital communicator, GSM Redcare or DualComm, if required, a police response would be given in the event of an alarm activation.
All our monitored systems are designed to comply with the new ACPO Police Policy, for confirmed Alarm Signalling.
On activation of a detector an alarm signal will be sent to the alarm receiver centre, they will inform key holders of this.
If a further detector activates within a 30-minute period, a confirmed alarm signal will be sent to the alarm receiver centre, they will then action the police.
Setting and unsetting of the alarm system is only permitted via a proximity key fob reader, which is housed in the keypad. The keypad is only used for programming functions.

If a system produces two false alarms in a rolling twelve month period, then a 'warning letter' would be issued by the police. If the system generates a further false alarm then police response would be withdrawn.

Police response can only be regained once the system has been free of false calls for a 3-month period.
